Shikha Shrestha, Ph.D.

Shikha is currently working as a Senior Polymer Scientist in R&D at a multi-national specialty chemical company and has prior experience in the consumer packaging industry. She has a strong foothold in industrial research and product development along with leadership roles in team building. She holds a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Starting with a robust academic background, she has been able to successfully carve her career in a highly competitive industry. Learning from her own professional journey, she has passionately helped recent college graduates in her network through career counseling, resume editing, and sharing interview hacks. Through her work at Early Career Support, she aims to guide many more young professionals in their journey to grow and become leaders.
